What is the Borrower Portal?

Borrower Portal is BAFS’ online platform designed to link a lender and a borrower.  

How does the Borrower Portal work?

White-labeled with the lending institution’s branding, BAFS’ Borrower Portal allows borrowers to input loan application information, upload documents directly to the lender, and submit the loan application. 

Borrowers are guided through each step of the loan application as they provide information and upload documents required specific to the type of loan being requested. The loan application flow is intuitive and efficient, shortening the time needed to complete the process.

How does the Borrower Portal work with BAFS’ proprietary software, BLAST®?

The Borrower Portal is seamlessly connected with BLAST®, BAFS’ cloud-based, proprietary platform that directs financial institutions’ workflows, guiding the path of a loan from application and analysis, through underwriting, documentation prep, and credit administration.

All data is securely stored and uploaded to the BLAST® platform allowing the loan application to be viewed and processed in BLAST® using already established processes and procedures. The lender has complete insight into all steps in the process and anything that may be missing can be seen instantly, saving time and improving efficiency.

How does a borrower access the Borrower Portal?

Borrowers will access the Borrower Portal through a link that is provided by the lending institution. They will create their account and have access to self-service profiles and password management.
